Ricardo Roselló

           Ricardo Antonio "Ricky" Rosselló Nevares, born March 7, 1979 is a Puerto Rican politician and the 12th and current Governor of Puerto Rico. He is also a college professor and researcher. Rosselló came to public life after his father, Pedro Rosselló, was elected as governor of Puerto Rico in 1992 and 1996. His office and house are located in the Fortaleza.

        Rosselló returned to the public life in 2010, he founded the political advocacy group Boricua ¡Ahora Es! that advocated for changing the current political status of Puerto Rico. After several years of political advocacy, Rosselló announced that he would seek the nomination for governor of Puerto Rico under the New Progressive Party (PNP in Spanish). Finally, he was elected governor during the 2016 general election.

Famous people of Puerto Rico

Roberto Clemente

Born Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker on August 18, 1934, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Clemente played with the Brooklyn Dodgers' minor baseball league team before making his major league debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1955. He died in a plane crash to deliver goods to Nicaragua in 1972.

Tito "El Bambino": Efraín David Fines Nevares

He was born on October 5, 1981, better known as Tito “El Bambino”) is a reggaeton singer from Puerto Rico. He rose to fame as Tito of the duo Héctor & Tito.

Luis Muñoz Marín

He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.Educated in the United States, where he studied law and wrote two books, Luis Muñoz Marín returned to Puerto Rico in 1926, entered local politics in 1932 and was elected its first governor in 1948.

Pedro Albizu Campos

Pedro Albizu Campos, he was born on September 12, 1891. Albizu, was a Puerto Rican attorney and politician, and the leading figure in the Puerto Rican independence movement. Albizu Campos was the president and spokesperson of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party from 1930 until his death in 1965.

Christmas Elf

     On Sunday Sam says, “Seven days until Christmas! I’m going to be a super elf and help Mom and Dad get ready for Christmas. Want to be a super elf with me? You can help too!” Sam pulls on his elf hat and gets to work.

     “OK, the first thing we need to do is write a letter to Santa,” says Sam. He grabs some paper and picks up a pen. Sam begins his letter to the big man.
